USSSA Jr. All-State Games 2012

2012 Information
The USSSA Jr. All-State Games are Expanding!  Amateur Baseball Report is working with different USSSA State Offices to provide for the most unique youth event in the United States.  The event features the top 9u-13u players to represent their team and their State.  Bragging rights are on the line....which state is the "Best of the Best!"

Currently, we are working on taking the 13 year old "All-Tournament Team" to play internationally.  Details TBA.

Skills Competitions
The opening ceremonies will kick-off with each player participating in a competition.

HomeRun Derby Contest - A fence will be setup in the outfield, and players will see who can hit the most bombs.

Strongest Arm/Pitching Contest- Players will step up to the mound, and give us their best Randy Johnson fastball.

Running Times- Players will be timed in both the 60yrd dash and their 2nd-Home time.  Fastest combined time, wins.

Outfield Accuracy-Players will be aiming at the targets setup at home.  The closer to home the throw is, the more points that are rewarded.

Qualifying for the Event
The USSSA State Directors for each state have set up different qualifying showcases, camps, and clinics to scout players.  Details will be posted here.  Check ABR Events to find some events that will qualify players.
