Benefits of the Player Profile Pages
• Allows individuals the ability to see their evaluation results that were completed and submitted by industry experts
• New evaluations will be added to the player profile page as individuals attend multiple events. This allows for a player the ability to track their progress in the development of their five-tools
• Players can use their player profile page as an active recruiting tool
o College coaches and professional scouts have the ability to search the ABR database for specific player(s) and/or type of player(s)
• Individuals can upgrade to a premium membership. The following memberships are offered:
o 6 month premium membership - $25.00
o 9 month premium membership - $30.00
o 12 month premium membership - $35.00
• Premium memberships include the following:
o Ability to view where a player stands on specific skills on a state an National Level
o Ability to view other players’ profile pages to see how they compare on both a tools and evaluation level
o Ability to view other event results
o Ability to add video to the player profile page in order for college coaches/MLB Scouts to view their live sset
o Ability to add photos to the player profile page
o Ability to add interested schools, upcoming game schedule, high school and travel team stats, etc
o Ability to view additional stories, etc
Evaluations
• All evaluations are completed by current or former college coaches, MLB scouts, professional players, and/or qualified baseball experts
o Evaluation sheets will be collected at the end of the five-tool ABR evaluation at which point each individuals results will be combined to create their Player Profile Page
• Through a unified evaluation system that is used at every ABR Evaluation, results stay consistent so individuals gain an accurate gauge of their current sset
What’s included in the Player Profile Pages
• The player profile page will include full results with comments from the five-tool player evaluation (hitting, running, fielding, arm strength, and power).
• Each player’s profile page will also include but not limited to height, weight, address, high school, positions, GPA, etc
Using a Player Profile Page as a Recruiting Tool
• College programs and professional scouts have the ability to search the ABR database for prospective players by a number of different categories. The categories that are searchable include but are not limited to:
o Name
o Position
o Graduation Year
o Throw (R/L)
o Hitting (L/R)
o Velocity
o Running Times
o Pop-time
o Etc.
