About Pat Disabato

ABR would like to welcome the "Swami" and the original "High-N-Tight" Pat Disabato.

Pat Disabato has been a sports writer/columnist for the daily SouthtownStar Newspaper (www.southtownstar.com), covering high school sports for the past 20 years. His columns have won numerous state and national awards. He also has his own weekly television program, The Coach’s Corner Show (www.coachscornershow.com), which focuses on high school, college and professional sports. Pat graduated from Eisenhower High School in Blue Island and went on to play college ball at Lewis University in Romeoville. Pat earned Pitcher of the Year honors at the CICL summer league and also played in the Cape Cod College Summer League. He was drafted his junior year at Lewis by the New York Mets and played in their minor league system for 2 1/2 years, before an arm injury ended his career.
