 Todd Fine: 

Fine joins the ABR with an extensive coaching and scouting background. Todd has the ability to not only recognize top players, but to further develop athletes at all levels. Todd’s accomplished background includes:
 
  • Houston Astros Associate Scout
  • Trained over 500 NCAA Division I players
  • Trained over 50 MLB draft picks
  • Coach of the 2008 Under Armour All-American Game
  • Head Coach of the 2008 14U NTIS Great Lakes Team, which had 2 individuals (David Petrino & Nolan Rogers) earn a spot on Team USA’s 14U National roster
  • Founder of Top Tier Baseball which has garnered AABC IL State Championships in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008
  • Owner of Prep Baseball Report Academy
  • Co Founder of Full Package Athletics
  • Played Baseball at Deerfield HS and at Michigan State University
 Jim Gasso:
 
Gasso joins the ABR with a strong background in intercollegiate & youth athletics and sports management. He also has over 20 years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, Community College and High School levels thus giving him the ability to identify and produce top athletes. Gasso's extensive athletic background includes the following:
 
  • Head Coach for the 2008 14U NTIS Midwest Team. Two of his team members, Bryant Hodge and Dalton Dulin (alternate), were named to Team USA’s 14U National roster
  • MLB International Envoy Coach-Latin America & Central America (2005-present)
  • Former Director of Baseball Operations at University of Oklahoma
  • Former Strength & Conditioning Coach at University of Oklahoma
  • Baseball Coach & Defensive Coordinator for Community Christian School (2004-2007)
  • Former Athletic Director at St. Gregory’s University (2001-2003)
  • Professional Boxing, Kickboxing, and Wrestling Administrator for the State of Oklahoma Department of Labor (1997-1999)
  • Head of Athletics at University of California, Santa Cruz (1989-1991)
  • Support Services Coordinator for the softball venue at the 1991 U.S. Olympic Festival in the Los Angeles
  • Athletic Department Administrative Coordinator at Cal State University at Dominguez Hills (1987-1988)
  • A native of Los Angeles California, Gasso earned his M.A. from Azusa Pacific University and a B.A. from Long Beach State in Physical Education and had four years of collegiate athletic participation at the Community College and Division I levels
 Keith Griffin:
 
Griffin joins the ABR with an extensive coaching background at the Collegiate and High School levels. His ability to recognize talent and develop athletes has lead to his various coaching accomplishments and has garnered him with numerous coaching honors at the collegiate level.   Griffin’s impressive background includes:
 
  • Head Coach at Okaloosa Walton College ( 2002- 2008) 
  • Head Coach at Jefferson Davis C.C. (1996-2002)
              *National Champions (1998), World Series appearances (1998, 2000), AJCCC State Title (1998, 2000)
  • Assistant Coach at Okaloosa-Walton C.C.( 1992-1996)
  • Assistant Coach at Jacksonville University( 1990-1992)
  • Head Coach at Pine Forest H.S., Pensacola, FL. ( 1980-1990)
  • Associate Scout for the California Angels
  • Six AJCCC State Tournament appearances (1997, 98, 99, 2000, 01, 02)
  • Five Conference Titles (1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002)
  • Seven NJCAA Regional appearances in 12 years
  • Named National Coach of the Year (1998)
  • Twice named NJCAA Region 22 “Coach of the Year” (1998, 2000)
  • Twice named AJCCC “Coach of the Year” (1998, 2000)
  • Griffin attended Gadsden State Junior College where he was a 2-time letter winner in Baseball. He continued to earn his B.A. in Physical Education from Livingston University, where he played in the NCAA Division II World Series, and earned his M.A. in Secondary Education from University of North Alabama
 John D. Brooks:
 
Brooks joins the ABR with over fifteen years off successfull baseball coaching and instruction.  His renowned experience has given him the ability to develop the average recreational player into an elite athlete.  Brooks' list of accomplishments includes:
  • Founder of the MVP Baseball & Softball Academy in Simpsonville SC
  • Instructor at the MVP Baseball Academy
  • Over 15 years of successful coaching experience
  • Development of rec level players into elite players
  • Demonstrated great versatility as a 3rd baseman, catcher, and outfielder during his playing career
  • Pursued a career in business from North Greenville University
